Rich with blackberry fruit and roasted coffee bean aromas in the nose. Robust blood orange and dark chocolate flavors lead to a satisfying finsh with ripe tannins. Try pairing with pork tenderloin, beef fillet, or tomatos with basil pasta.

In 2007 the weather was very dry. The vineyards saw a minimal amount of rain, and temperatures remained cool throughout the winter and spring. The mild winter and spring delayed the bud break and extended the harvest overall, enabling the fruit to develop slowly. Yield were significantly smaller than past vintages, but the quality of the fruit was excellent.
