Gift Specialists Inc is looking for an experienced manager to join the GSI team, and manage our Modesto facility. This is a very exciting career opportunity with fantastic growth potential!

Summary - The Business Manager will be actively involved in all aspects of the business, planning, directing and overseeing operations and employees. The business manager will enthusiastically:

• Provide leadership to the staff in day-to-day business operations
• Recruit, direct and manage staff
• Manage the overall profitability of the company
• Prepare forecasts and budgets
• Supervise all office, customer service, design studio, and warehouse activities
• Build client relationships through excellent customer service, marketing & networking
• Ensure good business relationships with vendors
• Manage accounts receivable
• Oversee product lineups including new product development, inventory purchasing and procurement
• Continuously strive to improve the quality and efficiency of existing operations by implementing new systems or improving upon old ones

The manager will work closely with GSI’s executive team to determine company goals and direction, increase market share in the corporate gifting industry, and maximize profitability.

Hours and Pay - This opportunity is a full-time position working from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Compensation will be based on experience and education.

Qualifications - Three to five years minimum experience is required in management or in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent combination of work experience is also a must have. Previous experience and success in sales & marketing, and human resources is highly desired.

This position requires a wide range of entrepreneurial and business leadership skills in order to be successful. Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to advise, guide, train & develop staff, shrewd purchasing & contract negotiation skills, and sound financial management skills are of the utmost importance in ensuring success.

We are looking for enthusiasm, a drive to excel, and strong skills in leading, motivating, and networking with business associates. The ability to multitask and switch focus easily, along with strong skills in prioritizing is needed. The manager must be competent in math & grammar, report generation, PC skills and internet usage.
