Gift Specialists Inc Employment Opportunity - Oceanside, CA Customer Service

Summary - Customer Service duties will include all aspects of customer service as well as assisting team members in special projects.

Daily Job duties:

• Assisting walk-in customers and taking phone orders
• Data entry and order processing
• Handling customer inquiries via telephone and Email
• Communicating with vendors and suppliers
• Internet marketing via blogs, forums, Facebook and Twitter.
• Filing, organizing, and keeping the office clean

Occasional Job duties:

• Web site updating
• Special projects
• General office duties and cleaning
• Assisting other team members and departments as needed
• Product photography (if qualified)
• Computer graphics (if qualified)

Hours and Pay - This opportunity is a full-time position working from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Starting pay will be $10-$12 per hour, depending on qualifications. Paid Time Off will be accrued after the probationary period.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older for this position
• Very strong Internet skills
• Strong computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
• Excellent telephone and people skills
• Excellent verbal communications skills
• Excellent written communication skills - spelling, grammar, etc. You will be corresponding with clients on a daily basis, and creating marketing literature, emails, proof reading, etc.
• Flexible schedule to work extra hours or weekends during busy holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Father's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas)
• Ability to handle special projects with minimal supervision
• Run errands, pickups or deliveries if needed
• Honest, no criminal record, no drugs
• Valid California Drivers License with clean driving record
• Must have your own reliable transportation and insurance

The following are desirable qualifications, but not absolutely required:

• Photography skills
• Computer graphics skills (Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Desktop publishing skills using Microsoft Publisher
• Web design skills
• Microsoft Access skills
• Experience with Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites
• Ability to write creatively
• Beer and/or wine knowledge
