This favored Italian varietal grows on terraced estate hillsides just west of the winery. With the well-drained soils of these hills and the unique micro-climate, the location suits Sangiovese well.

Multi-layered berry aromas with rose petal, leather and spice aromas, all blending nicely on the palate. The wine is sturdy and balanced, with blueberry jam, earthy mineral, and a hint of warm clove framing it. It is medium bodied, with a relaxed taste, well integrated tannins and a long smooth finish. This wonderful Sangiovese is perfect for drinking now, or if you chose to hold, should continue to age well for 3 to 5 years.
