This Chardonnay is typical Santa Barbara; ripe tropical fruit, fine acidity, pineapple, mango, guava with golden apple aromas and flavors are matched by light mineral notes together giving complexity and a delightfully refreshing quality.

The grapes for this delicious white wine came from a vineyard planted on its own roots circa 1972 in the world famous Santa Maria Valley of Santa Barbara County. They were gently pressed and slowly cold fermented in stainless steel tanks, then aged in French oak for four months. Complexity, flavor, and aroma are enhanced arguably beyond what pure barrel fermentation or pure stainless steel fermentation would achieve.
